Game Rules Text: Boss-time costs a player 50 Coins to use and may be used to either force all opponents to fight the next two Boss cards or allows the player to draw and fight the next two Boss cards. Boss-time fight damage rolls may not be skipped by Bribes/ESCAPE. If player chooses to play the card on opponents and one or more are eliminated during a Boss-time fight, the player who used the card receives the Gems and/or Coins left behind by eliminated opponent(s). For the sake of operations in clarifying multiple potential winners, the player to the left of the person who deployed Boss-time fights first and resolves the fight, players all each fight and get rewards for the first Boss, then players all each fight and roll for reward from the second Boss. As this card triggers a draw, players who activate this card skip their Draw Phase.
FAQ: This card was designed to be the only opponent killer in Base Game, but can have significantly more potent applications when combined with cards like Gauntlet, Gadget of Superiority, Proving Grounds, or Mulligans. Because the player “skips their Draw Phase” when using this card, it cannot be used in conjunction with Evade, Darius’ Study, etc.
