Game Rules Text: Draw a Boss card. Target opponent rolls and stands in for damage, player who drew Chosen Champion rolls for and receives reward. If opponent is killed this way, no reward is given from the Boss fight, but player receives the eliminated player’s resources

FAQ: The resulting Boss from this card may be Gauntleted and the Gadget of Superiority may apply for the player whose turn it is. Opponents who are fighting this cannot Bribe, Escape, Gauntlet, or use Gadget of Superiority to increase rank. However, if an opponent has a Power Struggle and is chosen to fight, a resulting Lieutenant (or a Proving Grounds ranked Warrior) would discard a Power Struggle effect for either or both players. If a Lieutenant is promoted (Proving Grounds/Gauntlet) it does not meet the qualifications for Power Struggle for either player during a Chosen Champion resolve.
