Game Rules Text: Reshuffled When Discarded (RWD): Emperor rolls five D20 rolls against the player for damage. If the player survives, they roll a D20 for rewards. All rolls grant a 5x multiplier on Coins. A reward roll between 1-10 grants player 35 Gems. A reward roll between 11-18 grants 50 Gems. A 19 or a 20 reward roll wins the game for the player. Emperor ignores Shields. Emperors may not be Bribed. Paying to ESCAPE the Emperor costs 100 Coins and results in no rewards for the player.

FAQ: The Emperor may be Evaded, Emperor may not be promoted (Gauntlet/Proving Grounds), When a player is permitted to redraw after an Emperor is found (Mulligan/Draw Two/Elexsa’s Wildwood/Enrage) the deck is shuffled before the redraw takes place, potentially allowing them to re-encounter the Emperor.
